Rising Star Outreach has been operating in Tamil Nadu in Southern India for over two decades. A huge amount of progress has been made, but still lots of needs are left as we strive to help all the communities we work with be fully self-sufficient. Please note that the cost listed does not include the community contribution, which varies based on circumstance. We believe that anything given for free has no value and that communities develop better when they drive their own change with some additional support.

EDUCATION – STUDENT NEEDS

Perpetual Education Grant - $12,360
Rising Star School can not afford to hire all the students from the leprosy communities and some of the parents want to educate their children from the communities they don’t want to put in the Hostel. They wish to raise kids from them. The grant will be used for School, College Tuition fees, Buying of Educational things like School bags, Shoes, Text books, Notebooks and etc.. for the kids
Scholarship Fund - $500
The Rising Star Scholarship Fund covers college and vocational school tuitions for Rising Star graduates. Through strategic allocation based on the needs and academic achievements of our students, your donations provide paramount opportunities for our graduates to thrive after high school.
