Vijay is always alert, always watching those he admires and trying to imitate their actions. He has a huge smile which seems to stretch all the way across his face and he rewards us with it often. He and three brothers who go to school here (Ashok, Moorthy, and Karthik) are good friends. Once, during a relay race, Vijay carried an orange on a spoon to win the race and his big brother Ashok ran over to him, cheering more loudly than anyone else, and picked him up in a big bear hug. Vijay has a strong desire to learn and is eager to hear the answer to each question he doesn’t already know. He is a friend to all and seems to have a new best friend everyday. We are glad Vijay is here at Rising Star Outreach.
